Why This Guide Exists
Mercer County does not operate a full long-term county jail. Most Mercer County arrestees who remain in custody are moved into the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation regional jail system, usually Southern Regional Jail and Correctional Facility in Beaver. A person may also pass through sheriff or municipal short-term holding before transfer, while sentenced prisoners, federal detainees, and immigration detainees can appear in separate systems.
This site gathers those public lookup paths into one local guide. It is privately operated and is not connected with Sheriff Alan Christian, the Mercer County Sheriff's Department, Southern Regional Jail, WVDCR, any court, or any government agency.

Search Partners and Referrals
Some pages may include search tools or links operated by third-party providers. Those providers control their own pricing, account terms, search coverage, and results. If a visitor follows a partner tool and signs up for a paid service, this site may receive a referral fee, which helps keep the local guides available without charging readers for access.
